NFL Draft Chat with West Virginia LB Doug Rigg

Doug Rigg is an outstanding inside linebacker for West Virginia who played in 45 career games with 22 starts, with 141 tackles including 9 tackles for a loss, 3 sacks and a fumble recovery for a touchdown. He has good football instincts, superior play recognition and excels at stopping the run. He has the work ethic, talent, heart, and the willingness to learn and develop as a player.

Doug is a highly rated linebacker but his concussion history may be a concern. He may be a late round pick, but he is surely expected to sign with some team as an undrafted free agent and that team will be glad they did.
