Who Do The Bears Take At #14?

Monsters of the Midway need refurbishing.

The Chicago Bears definitely need help to restore their once dominant defense and they have been doing a lot in the off-season in order to bring the unit back to prominence.

However, they still need to draft more help and it is a curious thought as to what position and what person they go after in the first round.

More mock drafts than any others have Pitt defensive tackle Aaron Donald as the Bears first pick with Florida State DT Timmy Jernigan a close second.

While either of these would be a great pick for the Bears, I’m still leaning toward safety and Alabama’s Ha Ha Clinton-Dix.

After all, it was a blown play by a safety last season that kept the Bears out of the playoffs. Fourth down and forever and yet, there was a receiver wide open in the middle of the field for a game winning touchdown.

Heck if Clinton-Dix is no longer there at 14, they could still get a very good one with Louisville’s Calvin Pryor.

However, any of these guys would be good picks and a good pass rush does make a secondary better.
