The six-time Pro Bowl wide receiver, 36, played nine years with the Cincinnati Bengals after being drafted in 2001 out of Oregon State and last played in the NFL in 2011 with the New England Patriots.

Johnson was signed by the Miami Dolphins in 2012 but was cut in training camp prior to the season after he was arrested for domestic battery after an incident with his now ex-wife.
