Signs with divisional rival.

Former Chicago Bears defensive end Corey Wootton agreed to terms with the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday.

Wootton was drafted out of Northwestern by the Bears and played all 16 games in each of the last two seasons when he combined for 10 sacks including three sacks last season.

He does have a bit of NFL triva for both the Bears and the Vikings as he was the player who ended quarterback Brett Favre’s career with a sack on the frozen turf at TCF Bank Stadium in 2010.

The sack gave Favre a concussion and he never played another down.
