Top pass rusher to Tampa.

Former Cincinnati Bengals Defensive end Michael Johnson agreed to a five-year, $43.75 million contract including $24 million guaranteed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Tuesday.

Johnson was highly coveted as numerous teams were interested in the star defensive end including the Chicago Bears, Minnesota Vikings and New York Jets.

A good pass rush is essential for Buccaneers head coach Lovie Smith’s defense and Johnson is an excellent player to build the defensive line around.
