Q: What is the fondest memory of your college career?

A: Beating USC when we played them in the 2012 Sun Bowl. They were ranked No.1  in the preseason polls and they showed us disrespect before the game and we won the game 28-14.

Q: Who was the toughest competitor you faced in college?

A: Joe Valleno the defensive tackle for Maryland. He played really hard and is a really really good football player.

Q: What was your best game in college?

A: My best game in college would probably be against Georgia this past season. While we didn’t win the game, I felt I played very well against some really solid players.

Q: What colleges recruited you out of high school?

A: Most of the schools in the ACC along with Auburn, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Old Miss, Mississippi State, Stanford and UCLA.

Q: What made you choose Georgia Tech?

A: Mainly the academics as well as the football tradition and that it was close to my home in Knoxville TN.

Q: What was your favorite NFL team growing up?

A: Being from Tennessee I watched a lot of the Titans although I was more interested in watching particular players instead of any particular team.

Q: Who was your favorite player?

A: Growing up it was Steve McNair. Just how great a player he was and how tough he was made me admire him.

Q: Which current NFL player most resembles you?

A: I probably think that play similar to Jonathan Cooper of the Arizona Cardinals. He was an ACC guy with great athleticism and sheer brute strength.

Q: What will distinguish you from other rookies?

A: The biggest things are the fact that I am a pretty good athlete and with my intelligence I can pick up different offensive blocking schemes quickly and that I am pretty surreal on the field.

Q: What would your former teammates say about you?

A: They would say that I love to work comes in everyday to find something to improve on. That I always wanted to get better at my craft and that I was never satisfied.

Q: What are you presently doing as far as training?

A: I am working out in Duluth GA at Gata and doing prep and position work with Ryan Golden.

Q: How do you think you will do on your pro-day?

A: I expect to do really well. I’m working really really hard to give myself the best shot as possible.

Q: Which is your favorite event?

A: I would probably say the 20-yard shuttle run because it is a good gauge of general athleticism.

Q: How was the agent selection process for you?

A: It was something that I wanted to focus on after the season so my parents did most of the road work until the season was over and then sat down with my parents and went over the selections and made my choice.

Q: Why did you choose John Hernandez and Agency Athlete?

A: I liked the way he explained what he would do for me from both a representation and a marketing standpoint.

Q: If you could have dinner with any three people, dead or alive, who would they be and why?

  1. Bear Bryant because a lot of people in my family are Alabama fans and I grew up hearing all about him. He was a coaching legend.
  2. Peyton Manning because he is from Knoxville and is a larger than life person for me along with his professionalism both on and off the field.
  3. Steve Jobs because he was an absolute genius.

Q: What do you want to do besides football?

A: Whenever football is over I will definitely be a bond trader or credit analyst.

Q: What do you like to do for fun?

A: I like going to movies. I am a real movie buff.

Q: If you were a dog, what breed would you be and why?

A: Anything except a bulldog because that’s Georgia’s mascot.

Q: What is your favorite sport besides football?

A: Definitely Baseball because it was what I grew up playing before football.
