Talk about blind luck.

There have been two Super Bowls where the first score of the game ended up being a safety and Giants fan Jona Rechnitz cashed in both times.

Two years ago The New York Giants forced New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady into intentionally grounding a pass in the end zone resulting in a safety and Rechnitz won $50,000 on a $1000 bet.

So this year, Rechnitz decided to give it another shot and bet $500 that a safety would again be the first score of the game. Once the ball sailed past Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning and Knowshon Moreno jumped on it in the end zone for a Seattle Seahawks safety he walked away with another $25,000 for his troubles.

Rechnita has said that he will donate his winnings to charity. The same thing he did two years ago.
