He's got a point there.

Seattle Seahawks defensive back Richard Sherman is as well-known for his mouth as he is for his ball-hawking skills. So after the Super Bowl when he was full of compliments for Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos some were probably a little disappointed.

It turns out that if they wanted a sound bite they just needed to hang out with him for awhile at the Seahawks after-party.

An article on MMQB.com shared a number of observations Sherman had including this:

He hates to admit it, but says “the NFC Championship was the Super Bowl. The 49ers were the second-best team in the NFL.”

As if losing wasn’t enough for the Denver Broncos already!

To be fair what he said is right in line with what many people are likely thinking already anyway.—this game was far from entertaining. Blowouts were common in the 1990’s, but since the turn of the millennium nine have been decided by a touchdown or less.
