Super Bowl XLVIII Stats and Stuff Part II - Stupid Prop Bets

Some of the stupidest Super Bowl prop bets around.

You simply can't have a Super Bowl without the most ridiculous prop bets for degenerate gamblers to lose their money on, right? Here are a few of my favorites for this year's game.

You can always bet on how long the National Anthem will take (over/under 2:30 this year), but this year you can bet on whether or not opera singer Renee Fleming will wear gloves while singing and what color they will be.  I would guess white gloves.

Will Denver's Knowshon Moreno cry during the National Anthem?  Apparently, this is a regular occurrence, so bet yes.

A couple of halftime related bets:  Will any member of the Red Hot Chili Peppers be shirtless during their performance? And what song will Bruno Mars sing first?  I'm going yes on the shirtless thing (Remember the socks?) and I couldn't name a Bruno Mars song if you put a gun to my head, which I'm assuming makes me like 99.9% of the rest of the football fans out there.

How many times will Archie Manning be shown on TV during the game?  Over/under is 2 1/2.  Take the over.

How many times will Eli Manning be shown during the game in his home stadium?  Over/under is 3 1/2.  Take the over again.  Eli will also probably get "intercepted" while trying to pass Archie a hotdog.  Sorry Giants fans, but everybody else thinks that's funny.

How many times will Peyton Manning say "Omaha" during the game?  Over/under is 27 1/2.  Note that he said it 44 times against the Ravens and 31 times against the Patriots in the Broncos two playoff games.  I'm going under because I think he'll switch it up and say "Rutherford", since the game is being played in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Will the announcers mention "marijuana" during the telecast since both Colorado and Washington legalized pot?  I doubt it, but if they do, a little Bob Marley playing in the background would be a nice touch.

What will be the lowest temperature during the game?  28 degrees is even money.

Will sideline reporter Erin Andrews interview Richard Sherman again after the game?  God, I hope so.
