Once a thug always a thug.

While Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman has been in the news for his postgame antics after the NFC Championship Game on Sunday, the NFL took action against him for his antics on the field during the game.

Sherman was fined $7,875 for taunting and unsportsmanlike conduct for taunting San Francisco 49ers receiver Michael Crabtree after the game winning interception by linebacker Malcom Smith in the end zone.

Crabtree could have saved the fine if he had just celebrated with his teammates instead of getting in Crabtree’s face after the game clinching turnover.
