NFL TV Ratings Soar.

With some of the programming that network television has on the air these days I guess that it is not surprising to learn that 34 of the 35 most-watched TV shows in America this fall were NFL games.

The only program besides an NFL game that made the top 35 was the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade which came in at No.22 on the list.

The average NFL game was watched by 17.6 million viewers with 205 million Americans watching at least one game.

To no surprise, two of the top three games were played on Thanksgiving. The Oakland Raiders vs. the Dallas Cowboys took the top spot while the Green Bay Packers vs. the Detroit Lions took the third spot with the Packers and San Francisco 49ers week one game sandwiched in between in the second spot.
