Six feet under for the BCS.

After 16 years the Bowl Championship Series in college football is dead. May it rest in peace.
 
It’s about time that the BCS died and it couldn’t have happened any sooner.
 
Going forward there will no longer be media moguls voting for the top team, or computers generating rankings based on schedule or conference, just overall records and a playoff system.  
 
It’s about time!
 
The BCS wasn’t about the best team; it was about the money and which teams would bring in the biggest payroll.
 
Next season with a four team playoff, votes and computers have been pushed aside for actual football records and may the best team win.
