Ajax is particularly famous for its renowned youth program and every year they manage to showcase some jewel to the soccer world. This season, 17-year old Jairo Riedewald has just made an incredible debut…

What a way to win for Ajax. They are losing 1-0 at Roda in Kerkrade with ten minutes to go, and their manager Frank De Boer decides to play his last card, handing the debut to Riedewald who comes in for Christian Poulsen. It’s a risky move, a last resort. Strikers Bojan and Hoesen coming in have proved to be ineffective, after all.

It happens that the young defender scores twice in just 240 seconds, Ajax win the game and they stay on top of the standings in Eredivisie. Worth watching!
