Underdogs no more.

For the first time since 2000, the Detroit Lions will be favored to win their annual Thanksgiving Day game.

At this point several Nevada sports books have the Lions as 5.5-6.5 favorites in their Thanksgiving Day game against the Green Bay Packers.

Of course if it was not for Packers QB Aaron Rodgers still being out with a broken collarbone, the Lions would probably once again be the Turkey day underdogs.

Since Rodgers went down with the injury the Packers are winless and it looks as if the bookies expect that trend to continue.
