Texans Coach has mini-stroke during SNF
The Houston Texans have been hit with all kinds of hurdles to climb this season, and right when it appeared as if the team might be getting on track one of the worst things possible happened.
Head Coach Gary Kubiak has a mini-stroke as the team was heading into the locker room with a 21-3 lead over the Colts.
Medical personnel responded immediately as Kubiak stopped and slowly dropped on to the turf. He was eventually placed on a stretcher and taken to a local hospital where he has remained as doctors run test in order to diagnose exactly what happened.
The word coming from Houston is that he is alert, coherent, and in good spirits. As encouraging as that is the team is taking every precaution before allowing Kubiak to get back to work. There has not been any word on when he will be released from the hospital or rejoining the team.
