St. Louis evens the World Series.

Somewhere, Fozzie Bear must be very happy. The famous moppet was known for his favorite catchphrase, "
Wacha Wacha". These days, Cardinal fans are saying the same thing.

Rookie Michael Wacha came up from the minors in August in the St. Louis bullpen. Later, he moved into the rotation. In his last regular-season start, he almost no-hit the Nationals.

He had a strong outing in the first round against the Pirates. He pitched so well against the Dodgers in the NLCS, he earned the MVP.

Last night, Wacha made only one mistake. He gave up a two run homerun that David Ortiz hit over the Green Monster. That blast briefly gave the  Red Sox a 2-1 lead.

But the Cardinals came back with three runs in the following inning. Boston committed two errors on one play. That play allowed the tying run to score, and the eventual winning run.

The Cardinals won the game 4-2. The two teams now head to St. Louis, the series tied one win apiece. There is no word if Fozzie Bear will be there.
