Clemson-Florida State Game of the Week

Should be a good one.

For the first time in many moons the ACC will take center stage as No. 5 Florida State travels to South Carolina to take on No. 3 Clemson in Death Valley on Saturday night.

It is the first time since 2005 that two top-five teams in the ACC have faced off and only the fourth time in NCAA history.

Both teams have dynamic and stellar quarterbacks in Florida State’s Jameis Winston and Clemson’s Tajh Boyd, both who are putting up numbers worthy of a Heisman Trophy.

Both teams have high powered offenses that score a lot of points and good tough hard hitting defenses so this one is a crap shoot.

With two of the nation’s best teams battling it out, I think that Clemson has a slight advantage for two reasons.

The first being that it is a home game for Clemson and the second is that Boyd has showed he can shoot it out with elite opponents, as he did in the season opener against Georgia and the bowl game last season against LSU, while Winston is a red shirt freshman and lacks the big game experience especially on the road.
