St. Louis goes to LA up 2-0, Boston heads to Detroit in a tie.

"Head west young man". That old adage applies to both of the league championship series, as the home-fields switch and the teams head west.

Another old saying is "it ain't over, until the fat lady sings". In Boston, the new saying is "it ain't over until Big Papi swings". David Ortiz hit a grand slam in the eighth inning with two outs, bringing the Red Sox back from a 5 to 1 deficit. Their series with the Tigers is tied, both teams have won one game.

Meanwhile, the NLCS heads to California. The Dodgers will host game three. They had two aces pitch in the first two games, but lost both games. They trail the Cardinals 0-2.
