One good game does not a career make.

Back in 2011, quarterback Matt Flynn started the final game of the season for the 14-1 Packers who were sitting most of their starters and had a career game throwing for 480 yards and six touchdowns, both franchise records.

The game put Flynn on the map and had teams drooling over the young quarterback.

The following season Flynn signed with Seattle for $14.5 million expecting to be the starter but lost that to Russell Wilson.

This season he was traded to the Oakland Raiders for a 5th round pick and he thought he would be the starter there as well but then lost that job to Terrelle Pryor.

On Monday, the Raiders released Flynn and now he is on the outside looking in all because of one good game.
