Talk about an oxymoron.

In response to a question about the rowdy atmosphere at Ford Field during Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions vice chairman Bill Ford called the Bears a “bunch of thugs.” A Lions spokesperson said he was only joking, but that was after the comment became national news.

Who the hell does this guy think he is coming from a team that has had more off the field arrests in the past few years than any other team in the NFL and that has also had a slew of on the field instances as well.

And this was after the Lions beat the Bears 40-32. I would hate to hear what he had to say if the Lions would have lost.

Ford needs to look into his own backyard before making comments such as this.
