The Chicago Blackhawks raised their 2013 NHL Stanley Cup Champions banner Tuesday night before their opening game of the season in the United Center and then went out and continued their winning ways with a come from behind 6-4 victory over the Washington Capitals.

The Blackhawks never say die attitude was once again in affect as they fell behind 4-3 in the third period but came roaring back with three goals including an open netter that was awarded to Marian Hossa after he was dragged down to the ice on his way to the net.

Patrick Kane, Brent Seabrook, Brandon Bollig, Johnny Oduya and Brandon Saad also scored for the Blackhawks.

The Blackhawks are trying to become the first team since the Detroit Red Wings in 1997 and 1998 to win back-to-back Stanley Cups.
