Clemson's offense put the pedal to the metal in a 56-7 victory over Wake Forest on Saturday.

After throwing three touchdowns and running for another, Clemson quarterback Tajh Boyd joined former North Carolina State star Phillip Rivers to become the second Atlantic Coast Conference quarterback to account for 100 career touchdowns.

Boyd currently stands at 102 touchdowns with 82 TD passes and 20 rushing TDs while Rivers ended his college career with 95 TD passes, 17 rushing TDs and one receiving TD for a total of 113 career touchdowns. With eight games to go, it’s possible Boyd could become the ACC’s touchdown leader by seasons end.

Boyd also passed for 311 yards and ran for 69 yards to overtake Charlie Whitehurst as Clemson's total career offense leader.
