Bears on a roll.

The Chicago Bears went into Heinz Field on Sunday night 2-0 but there were still many naysayers out there that thought they would be the perfect medicine for the 0-2 Pittsburgh Steelers.

It didn’t work out that way as the Bears won 40-23.

The Bears lead by three touchdowns in the first half but let the Steelers back in the game as they pulled within 27-23 with 10:43 to play.

But the Bears proceeded to march down the field for another touchdown on a great pass reception by Earl Bennett in the corner of the end zone that had to be overturned by replay officials after originally being ruled that he was out of bounds.

The Bears put the game away for good on a Ben Roethlisberger fumble which Julius Peppers caught on the fly and rumbled down the sideline for a score, the second on the night for the Bears defense to seal the win. Game over!

The Bears defense kept up their reputation with five turnovers, two for scores, the fumble return by Peppers and a pick-6 by safety Major Wright. They also had three sacks.
