Another dumb NFL rule.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers wanted to bring out the old throw back “Dreamsicle” uniforms this Sunday against the Cardinals but because of yet another dumb NFL rule, they had to scrap the idea.

The NFL has a new helmet policy that wants players to wear the same helmet all year long as if a different helmet might cause injuries.

The fact that the Bucs current helmets are pewter and the throw back helmets are white they had to scrap the idea.

I am all for safety in the NFL, but some of these new rules are extremely far fetched in my opinion. Afterall, a helmet is a helmet and if it is fitted properly, what the hell difference does it make if it was the same exact helmet they wore the week before?

As ugly as I always thought the original Bucs uniforms were, they are still a fan favorite in Tampa and I think the NFL is going a bit to far on this one.
