RGIII ready to go!

On Monday, Washington Redskins coach Mike Shanahan confirmed that Robert Griffin III will be the starting quarterback for the season opener against the division rival Philadelphia Eagles on Monday night.

Shanahan said that he feels good about where RGIII is at and that he will be the starter unless “unless there's some crazy setback” that was not anticipated.

Shanahan did leave a few things to think about when he refused to disclose why he delayed the decision for several days after his star QB was cleared to play by Dr. James Andrews.

In response, Shanahan said that he believes that Griffin can do anything he is asked to do, that he is ready to go and that it is full-speed ahead.
