Combine Frenzy Begins

The annual NFL Combine in Indianapolis is upon us and the frenzy and hoopla has begun.
Oh Boy!
Now while I truly understand the importance of the combine as it pertains to evaluating players prior to the NFL Draft in April, this is a team executive and coach’s event and not a fan event.
So while the importance of timing the 40-yard dash, doing drills around cones, how much weight they can lift and how high they can jump shows athleticism along with their Wonderlic Test score, most fans really don’t give a hoot.
Fans want to see what the players can do on the field, in a game, in the fourth quarter with the game on the line.
That’s what really counts!
