Fashion Faux Pas Fixing to hit the NFL?

Football is not just for men now. Women like the game as well and better yet—they know they look good when they wear one of our jerseys.

We (by ‘we’ I mean men) have accepted that sometimes women would rather wear a pink jersey (since it’s a little more feminine) than say the traditional stampede blue and white of the Indianapolis Colts. However, play with our traditional team colors, designs, and logos and you might have a small mutiny on your hands (remember New Coke?).

Nike is set to inherit the NFL apparel deal from Reebok and has stated that they are going to make some changes once they take over. Since the world has seen what kind of changes that Nike is willing to try courtesy of the Oregon Ducks football team this has many concerned about what could happen to their favorite NFL team.

To make a long story short—don’t worry about it. There are restrictions in place on what Nike can do especially without getting league and team approval first.

It’s going to be okay people. You can breath now.
