Should Peyton Manning Retire?
Written by Nolan Thomas, Friday February 10 2012
With Peyton Manning most likely cleaning out his locker in Indianapolis soon, the question on most peoples minds are how many teams will join the auction and which one the future Hall of Fame quarterback will end up with.
However, reports have surfaced that right now Manning is throwing the ball around. The only problem is that they say that he has the arm strength of an eighth grader and can’t make all the throws. The term “noodle arm” has surfaced as well.
If Manning does not return to form and be able to zip the ball into tight spots like he used to, making him no better then an average backup.
Only Manning will know whether he will be able to perform at the level he is used to and if he can’t, it would be best if he just hung up the cleats and retired.
I, for one, would hate to see a legend of the game fall from grace and remind of us of Michael Jordan with the Washington Wizards.
