Plaxico Burress Wants to be an Eagle

Rumors have been surfacing that New York Jets wide receiver Plaxico Burress wanted to remain in green, just not in New York.
During the Super Bowl Burress told a Philadelphia reporter that he wants “badly” to play for the Eagles.
After last season’s free agent splurge and the disappointing season that followed, the Philadelphia Eagles would have to think hard about bringing in yet another high profile free agent.
Of course if the Eagles did sign him, they would always have the jail bird connection with ex-con quarterback Michael Vick throwing the ball to ex-con Burress.
Maybe the Eagles could bring in Cedric Benson, Sam Hurd, Tank Johnson and Pacman Jones and have an All-Prison team like the one brought in for a scrimmage in the classic movie “The Longest Yard.”
Instead of names on the back of the jerseys they can put on prison numbers instead. For full effect and crowd control, barbed wire could surround the field and armed guards could be posted at key spots in the stadium.
If anything, they could play “Jailhouse Rock” after big plays and there would be no more snowballs ever thrown at Santa Claus.
