With the NFL season ending with an MVP performance from New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning in Super Bowl XLVI, the story now will be all about Manning.
Peyton Manning that is!
The news media will now shift their sights onto Peyton, his inevitable release from the Indianapolis Colts in order to clear the way for Andrew Luck, and where the 4-time MVP quarterback will be playing next season.
So as you hear Peyton Manning mentioned on every sports cast and read about him on the internet so much that you will be tired of it, you can always be thankful for one thing.
At least it is not Brett Favre coming out retirement again.
