Giants Umenyiora Fined $20,000 for Missing Media Day

For reasons unknown at this time, New York Giants defensive end Osi Umenyiora skipped out on a mandatory Super Bowl media session Wednesday morning and has been fined $20,000 by the NFL.
The NFL announced the fine within a couple of hours after the Giants finished up their 45-minute mandatory media session.
Umenyiora was scheduled to be at the session answering questions, but he was a no-show. He was the only Giants player to miss the media session.
