Steelers Stop Colts from Poaching Another Coach
Written by Travis Pulver, Tuesday January 31 2012
There were rumors floating around that new Indianapolis Colts head coach was trying to convince Pittsburgh Steelers linebackers coach Keith Butler into making a move to the Circle City, but it appears like the Steelers have put that to rest.
After meeting with Pittsburgh team owner Art Rooney and head coach Mike Tomlin, Butler agreed to a new contract with the Steelers and cancelled his meeting with the Colts. Butler supposedly has a handshake deal to become the new defensive coordinator in Steel Town once Dick LeBeau retires after the 2012 season (as expected).
