Will it be a Pseudo-Home Field Advantage for the Giants?

When it was announced that Lucas Oil Stadium was going to host Super Bowl XLVI fans in Indianapolis knew they had a shot at being the first team to win a Super Bowl that their town was hosting.
Well, we all know how well that has worked out for them.
With their fearless leader, Peyton Manning, on the mend for the entire season the Colts became yet another victim to the Super Bowl hosting curse. However, fans could very well be in store for the next best thing.
If they can’t cheer for Peyton Manning and the Colts they can cheer for his little brother and against the hated New England Patriots!
New York Giants head coach Tom Coughlin said that he thinks that could very well be the case this week as his team prepares to take on Tom Brady and Co.
The transition wouldn’t be a hard one…
