Patriots Gronkowski Misses Practice
New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski got off the plane Sunday wearing a walking boot on his left ankle and he did not practice with the team on Monday.
Gronkowski sprained the ankle in the third quarter of the Patriots’ 23-20 victory over the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship Game.
If Gronkowski is unable to play or is limited in the Super Bowl, a big part of the Patriots offense will be missing. The tight end has 15 catches for 232 yards and three touchdowns in the playoffs.
According to Head Coach Bill Belichick, Gronkowski is going to be day to day.
