Gronkowski Has Many Doctors
Written by Christopher Corazon, Saturday January 28 2012
Is there a doctor in the house?
Rob Gronkowski apparently has many of them. He suffered an ankle injury during New England's win over the Ravens. Newspapers like the Boston Herald and Worcester Telegram were reporting that he would be ready for the Super Bowl. Then he missed practices during the week. But his father, a.k.a. Dr. Dad confirmed that he would be ready to go. But ESPN came back with their own doctor who said this type of injury would take longer than two weeks to heal. He did not actually examine Gronkowski, but made a general statement.
Will Gronkowski be able to play? Obviously it depends on who you ask. This much is known from the season, he set records for a tight end during the season and is a big part of the offense. Tom Brady and the Patriots were still able to win against Baltimore after Gronkowski left the game. But certainly they would like to have him in the big game against the Giants.
