San Francisco’s tremendous rookie linebacker Aldon Smith was arrested by Miami Beach Police on Saturday morning for driving under the influence.
Smith recorded 14 sacks for the 49ers in 2011, which ranked first among rookies.
According to the 49ers’ Twitter account, the team is aware of the situation and will monitor it as more details become available.
