Giants-Patriots to Meet in Super Bowl
The New York Giants and the New England Patriots are going to meet in two weeks at the Super Bowl in Indianapolis.
The Patriots defeated the Baltimore Ravens 23-20 in the AFC Championship game. The Ravens had a chance to tie it with 0:17 seconds left in the game but Billy Cundiff shanked a 32-yard field goal attempt.
Patriots quarterback Tom Brady will be going for his fourth NFL Championship which would tie him with Hall of Fame quarterback Joe Montana, who won four championships with the 49ers.
In a tight contest the NFC Championship game between the Giants and the San Francisco 49ers, the Giants won 20-17 on a 31-yard field goal in overtime.
49ers tight end Vernon Davis caught two touchdown passes in the game, one of them a 73-yard reception that he had to tight rope down the right sideline to score.
