Joe Paterno in Serious Condition
Former legendary Penn State coach Joe Paterno, 85, has been in the hospital for eight days and is in serious condition waiting for deaths door.
Paterno was diagnosed with cancer shortly after being fired from Penn State in November and has been experiencing health complications from the cancer treatments.
“Over the last few days Joe Paterno has experienced further health complications,” spokesman Dan McGinn said on Saturday. "His doctors have now characterized his status as serious.”
According to reports, Paterno has summoned friends, family, and close work associates to come and say good bye.
