Brandon Jacobs to Implement Strange Strategy
Written by Travis Pulver, Thursday January 19 2012
Every player always has a strategy going into a big game; some make sense while others are a little hard to understand. Take New York Giants running back Brandon Jacobs talking about what he’s hoping will happen this Sunday when the team takes on the San Francisco 49ers:
“I wish like hell they’d hit me in the head,” Jacobs told NFL.com. “A helmet-to-helmet hit. I want one of those….”
He went on to explain that its because that means they are tackling high (a mistake when trying to bring him down). It could be that maybe Jacobs has had one to many helmet to helmet hits already since he’s now requesting them.
