Crennel to Remain Chiefs Coach
After Todd Haley was fired as the Kansas City Chiefs in week 14 and Romeo Crennel was named interim coach for the last three games of the season.
Apparently Crennel passed the audition in going 2-1 and the front office must have liked what they saw because they have removed the “interim” label and hired him permanently.
The Chiefs players let it be known that they really liked and respected Crennel and they wanted him as their coach.
Crennel went 24-40 in four seasons as head coach of the Cleveland Browns from 2005-2008.
