Bears to Interview Four GM Candidates
Written by Nolan Thomas, Wednesday January 11 2012
After a week of Chicago Bears fans panicing that they have not yet interviewed or even scheduled interviews to replace recently fired General Manager Jerry Angelo, the team announced on Wednesday that they have set up four interviews after receiving permission from the candidate’s current teams.
The Bears will interview Kansas City Chiefs director of college scouting Phil Emery, New England Patriots director of pro personnel Jason Licht, San Diego Chargers director of player personnel Jimmy Raye and New York Giants director of college scouting Marc Ross.
Fan disfavored candidate Tim Ruskell, the Bears current Director of Player Personnel and former Seattle Seahawks GM is also being considered.
