Barry Larkin Elected to Baseball Hall of Fame
Long time Cincinnati Reds shortstop Barry Larkin has been elected to Baseball’s Hall of Fame as he received 86 percent of the vote by the Baseball Writers’ Association of America.
This was Larkin’s third time on the ballot and he was the only player to be elected this year.
Larkin will be inducted into Cooperstown on July 22 along with Ron Santo, the late Chicago Cubs third baseman, who was elected last month by the Veterans Committee.
