Texans Win First Ever Playoff Game
Written by Nolan Thomas, Saturday January 07 2012
After nine years in the NFL, the Houston Texans won their first ever playoff game in routing the Cincinnati Bengals 31-10 on Saturday and they did it with rookie quarterback T.J. Yates.
Of course running back Arian Foster helped out a lot rushing for 153 yards and two touchdowns and the defense scored on a 29-yard interception return by rookie defensive end J.J. Watt.
Yates did throw a 40-yard touchdown pass to Andre Johnson late in the third quarter to give the Texans a 24-10 lead.
The Texans will take on the Baltimore Ravens next Sunday.
