Patriots OC Bill O’Brian Agrees to Coach Penn State
After interviewing on Thursday, New England Patriots offensive coordinator Bill O'Brien has agreed to become the new head coach at Penn State.
In the wake of child sex abuse charges against former defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky, long time Penn State coach Joe Paterno, who coached the team for 46 seasons, was fired two months ago.
The school plans to officially announce O’Brian as their new coach on Saturday.
O'Brien will continue to serve as the Patriots' offensive coordinator until the season ends.
