Miami Jeff Fisher’s First Stop
Former Tennessee Titans head coach Jeff Fisher is going to busy with the numerous head coaching vacancies that have opened up in Indianapolis, Kansas City, Miami, St. Louis and Tampa and his first stop was South Beach.
Fisher flew in on Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross’ helicopter Tuesday, interviewed for the job and then took off again hours later.
Fisher coached the Titans for 17 years, both as the Houston Oilers in Texas and as the Titans in both Texas and Tennessee and led them to the 2000 Super Bowl.
After last season, the league’s longest-tenured coach said he needed a break, stepped down and took a year off.
