Dan Snyder to Cut Mike Shanahan Lose?
Written by Travis Pulver, Thursday December 29 2011
You have to respect an owner's drive and desire to win; Washington Redskins owner Dan Snyder has that. However, he has not been known for having patience with head coaches that don’t produce the desired results.
Mike Shanahan has had two seasons to get the Redskins on track, much like all the other coaches Snyder has hired with the exception of Joe Gibbs, but has not been able to win more than six games in a given season. Ask him though, and he’ll tell you he’s not worried about his future with the team.
“Hopefully there’s no doubt in Dan’s mind, too,” Shanahan said with a laugh. “That would be the bigger guy to ask.”
