Houston Texans Set to Handle Yet another Set Back
Written by Travis Pulver, Wednesday December 14 2011
The Houston Texans have dealt with the loss of a major player like Mario Williams on defense. They have had to deal without superstars likes Arian Foster, Andre Johnson, and now Matt Schaub on offense.
Through all the setbacks the team has managed to find a way to overcome them en route to winning the team’s first division crown and playoff berth. What more can be taken from these guys before they are stopped?
How about their defensive coordinator?
Wade Phillips will be taking a leave of absence from the team to deal with a medical issue.
"It's not life-threatening," Phillips said Wednesday. "There's no chemotherapy involved ... I don't want to get into it. It's not a vasectomy, in case you wondered."
Worry not loyal Texans followers, the man behind the No. 1 defense in the league will be back; he’s only expected to be gone for 10 days.
