NL MVP Accused Of Steroids
Written by Christopher Corazon, Sunday December 11 2011
It seems MLB may never be clear of the scandals of performance enhancing drugs. This weekend it was announced that Ryan Braun is facing a 50 game suspension. It also was announced that Braun knew when he won the MVP award.
Braun won the award and helped bring the Milwaukee Brewers into the playoffs. He is appealing the suspension, but there has not been a successful appeal of these types of accusations.
Even if Braun wins on appeal, there is a mark next to his name. Jeff Bagwell is not getting the consideration he should for the Hall of Fame because of rumors. It seems MLB will never be clear of these kinds of scandals.
