Lions Fines Piling Up
The Detroit Lions continue to enhance their reputation as bad boys as the fines keep piling up each week for their players.
After the teams latest meltdown last Sunday against the New Orleans Saints, another $40,000 in fines that were handed out to Lions players.
Tight end Brandon Pettigrew was fined $25,000 for abusive conduct toward game officials after making contact with an official after a play while wide receiver Nate Burleson was fined $7,500 for a facemask violation and Stefan Logan was fined $7,500 after flipping the ball at a Saints player after a play.
In addition, Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh will miss Sunday’s game as he serves the second of his two-game suspension for stomping on an opponent.
