Former Chicago White Sox left handed pitcher Mark Buehrle is rejoining manager Ozzie Guillen in Miami as the free agent pitcher has agreed to a four-year, $58 million contract with the Miami Marlins.

Buehrle had 161 victories with the White Sox including a run of 11 consecutive seasons with at least 10 victories, 30 starts and 200 innings pitched. Last season Buehrle was 13-9 with a 3.59 ERA while pitching for Guillen.

The Marlins signing Buehrle adds to their aggressive free-agent signings that has seen them also sign All-Star free agents Heath Bell and Jose Reyes.

The signing of Buehrle might take the Marlins out of contention for Albert Pujols, which most likely means the All-Star slugger will return to the St. Louis Cardinals
